orld, leaves pieces of her heart in the places she visits, and then moves on to the next destination. It’s been thrilling to live in some of the most beautiful places on Earth in the past decade—Prague, Buenos Aires, Marseille, Vancouver, Mexico City, Boston…—but LA’s the home I don’t have any urge to leave. Living in LA is like living in a small version of the world where every day I can wander to different places, taste different flavors, get to know different people, and fall in love again and again with the city’s diversity and excitement. I just wish I could bring my friends with us to the new city. Leaving people behind has always been the toughest aspect of moving for us. But we realize how lucky we are to have each other—our love is the comforting constant that will help us go through it all.
